Susie Hamilton

Susie Hamilton lives and works in London. She studied painting at St Martin’s School of Art, Byam Shaw School of Art and read English Literature at London University.

Her work focuses on single figures in urban or natural wildernesses. They are based on rapid drawings from life which abbreviate and distill figures into mutating or vulnerable creatures.
